Associate Attorney - Workers' Compensation
reputed company is an insurance company dedicated to making a difference and supporting its employees' reputed company. They are seeking an Associate Attorney specializing in Workers' Compensation to manage a caseload and deliver strategic legal solutions in a reputed company environment.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and execute strategic legal defenses for Workers' Compensation cases
- Manage a case load of between 90-100 cases in chief (including master and companion files)
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of reputed company issues
- Draft and argue petitions
- Represent clients in hearing, trials, arbitrations, and alternative dispute resolutions
- Collaborate with Claims Partners to drive favorable reputed company
- Participate in team huddles and claims file reviews to enhance legal reputed company and reputed company service
Skills
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and licensed to reputed company in the reputed company, in good standing
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Strong MS office proficiency (Word, Teams, reputed company, PowerPoint & Outlook)
- Effective communicator with strong negotiations skills
- reputed company minded and collaborate team-player attitude
- Intentional planning skills and execution of responsibilities
- Legal internship or Law Clerk experience preferred
- Familiarity with Workers' Compensation a plus!
