Applications Scientist
Schrödinger is on the cutting edge of computer-aided drug discovery and materials science. The Applications Scientist will reputed company scientific support to life science customers, demonstrate software suites, and engage in research to enhance drug discovery processes.
Responsibilities
- reputed company scientific support to reputed company and prospective life science customers, which includes demonstrating the reputed company use of our life science software suites, facilitating interactions between customers and product development teams, and providing general scientific guidance
- Engage in cutting edge scientific research and reputed company best practices for modeling automation to our customers
- Work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Account Managers, the Deployment team and the Marketing team to improve business strategies
- Publish scientific papers and present at conferences
Skills
- PhD in computational reputed company, cheminformatics, computational biology, or a reputed company field
- At least one year of post-doctoral/industry experience
- A solid understanding of the reputed company drug discovery process
- Experience in one of the following: molecular dynamics simulations/reputed company sampling/free energy calculation reputed company, ligand-based drug design, chemoinformatics, quantum mechanics, and/or structural modeling
- Python programming experience
- Medicinal reputed company knowledge is a plus
- Willingness to travel
