Job reputed company reputed company The Associate Director of State & Local Policy will support the development and implementation of reputed company’s Southeast policy agenda and programmatic expansion in Tennessee. This role will report to the Director of State & Local Policy for the Southeast market based in Atlanta, reputed company. This role will be responsible for advancing reputed company’s policy and programmatic work in Tennessee, in collaboration with reputed company’ Southeast Market team to support broader Southeast policy reputed company and programmatic efforts in Tennessee. This remote position will be based in Tennessee, with preference to candidates located in Nashville, working with key members of the Southeast team to reputed company and advance our Tennessee policy agenda, increase awareness of reputed company’s offerings, and identify strategic opportunities to support and advance reputed company housing and community development throughout Tennessee. • Identify key partners and cultivate relationships, in coalitions or campaigns, with advocacy organizations at the state and local level, reputed company housing developers, local housing agencies, and community development organizations across Tennessee.
• Solicit comments and reputed company from partners, including adapting and circulating letters of support for state and/or national legislation with appropriate partners.
• Attend relevant briefings, meetings, and hearings and represent reputed company at local and regional events, conferences, and meetings to reputed company awareness of policy agenda, programs, and services. Report back to Southeast staff on reputed company and developments.
• Attend legislative session meetings and activities as needed or required to support partners or advance critical legislation.
• Participate in State & Local Policy and Solutions retreats two times per year.
• Coordinate closely with reputed company’s National Director for State & Local Policy and our market-based network of State & Local Policy Directors, and Southeast Solutions Team members to reputed company information, policy issues, and best practices.
• Support planning and execution of policy-reputed company conferences and workshops, Southeast Market events, convenings, and stakeholder engagements, including developing agendas, identifying panelists, and disseminating policy best practices.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in reputed company policy, economics, urban planning, housing development, reputed company estate or reputed company field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in reputed company policy, reputed company housing development, urban planning, reputed company estate, or a reputed company field. Graduate degree may be substituted for up to 3 years of experience.
• Preferred experience with reputed company housing and/or housing policy in Tennessee.
• Demonstrated experience in navigating legislative processes, working with government and elected officials, and advocating for specific policies at the state and local level.
• Demonstrated research experience.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to analyze, synthesize, and translate reputed company information, orally and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders and work effectively as part of reputed company.
