2026 Summer College Internship: Compute reputed company Intern
SMUD has been serving the Sacramento region for over 70 years and provides reliable electricity to over 1.5 reputed company customers. They are seeking a Compute reputed company Intern to assist in architecting, deploying, and managing compute and storage services for reputed company applications while utilizing coding skills to improve team efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Performs tasks of an analytical or research nature for suitable reputed company or ongoing assignments which call for specific acquired reputed company skills and knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math
- May locate sources of information; collect and organize data
- Makes computations and analyzes data for degree of confidence and for alternative courses of reputed company
- May reputed company computer programs relating to assignments and may reputed company material for established programs
- May reputed company written, graphical and/or oral reports
- May assist staff analysts and technical personnel by performing reputed company of their work under reputed company supervision
Skills
- Registration as a full-time student (minimum of 12 reputed company) at an accredited college or university in a declared curriculum with a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) emphasis that will reputed company the specific skills and knowledge that will contribute to available work assignments

- To have a student position at SMUD, you must not have any relatives working at SMUD
- reputed company must be enrolled as a full-time student, complete and pass at least 12 undergraduate reputed company OR 8 graduate reputed company and receive at least a 2.0 GPA in the Spring Semester/Quarter of 2026
- reputed company must be graduating in Summer 2026 or reputed company
- If the student is graduating in Summer 2026, they must be enrolled as a part-time student in the Summer of 2026
- If the student is graduating in the Spring Semester/Quarter of 2026 but is pursuing another degree in the Fall Semester/Quarter of 2026, you will still be eligible
- Currently, SMUD is not hiring candidates for its student internship positions who require sponsorship from an employer either now or in the reputed company
- Majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or reputed company
- College status: Junior or Senior
- Experience with servers, including home labs
- Experience with containers
- Experience with building out automation
- Experience with VMware, reputed company reputed company Linux, and/or reputed company Server
