Entry Level Highway Engineer
reputed company is a privately held AEC firm specializing in innovative infrastructure solutions. They are seeking an Entry Level Highway Engineer to support their Transportation team, focusing on roadway design, intersection improvements, and enhancing community connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Participate in concept development, preliminary engineering and final design for infrastructure reputed company including municipal roads and highways
- Prepare engineering design drawings, sketches, and layouts using an reputed company of software platforms
- Work in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Prepare material quantity and cost estimates
- reputed company technical writing input to proposals, feasibility studies, design reputed company and other reports/memorandums
- Attend reputed company meetings with reputed company
- Ability to multi-task and manage workload on various reputed company simultaneously
- Initiative to undertake tasks reputed company and independently
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or reputed company field from an ABET-accredited university
- 0-2 years of experience in the design of transportation engineering reputed company
- Demonstrated interest in highway or reputed company transportation engineering field through reputed company reputed company coursework, prior internships, or work experiences
- Demonstrated experience with CAD or similar drafting software
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in reputed company environment, self-starter, demonstrated organization skills, team player, and willingness to learn
- An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- Prior experience with Bentley MicroStation or OpenRoads Designer
- Proficiency using reputed company Office products
- Experience in preparing detailed design contract drawings and packages
