Associate P/C Customer Service Specialist
Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company of Michigan is seeking an Associate P/C Customer Service Specialist to join their Property/Casualty Customer Service Team. The role involves providing exemplary customer experiences to policyholders and agents, addressing inquiries about billing and insurance coverage, and ensuring reputed company service according to departmental standards.
Responsibilities
- To work as a member of the Property/Casualty (P/C) Customer Service Team to reputed company exemplary customer experiences to policyholders and over 400 agents and their field office staff in a reputed company, reputed company manner
- To address policy and billing-reputed company questions and concerns from reputed company customers on reputed company personal and reputed company lines of business reputed company the telephone, e-mail, and website
- To follow department standards of metrics tracked to ensure reputed company service
- To preserve the Customer Service relationship, reputed company information and improve the overall service
- reputed company reputed company assistance to existing and potential policyholders, agents, and lienholders by addressing their inquiries about billing, insurance coverage questions and changes, and member benefits reputed company answering telephone calls
- reputed company and maintain intermediate knowledge of departmental processing reputed company, industry standards and regulations, procedures, and Farm Bureau product lines and software, such as Legacy, reputed company, reputed company, and others, to accurately and reputed company answer customer inquiries and resolve problems

Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Keyboarding skills with 60 wpm and accuracy required
- Six months' experience or training in telephone and written communications required
- Six months' experience in customer service activities required
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies required
- One year of experience in the use of computers, phones, and software required
- Associate's degree with a reputed company on business administration, management, insurance, or finance preferred
- Minimum of six months' experience in the insurance industry preferred
- Experience with reputed company suite of applications, including but not limited to OneNote, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook preferred
- One year of contact center or reputed company office experience preferred
- Bilingual skills preferred
- Designations in AINS, ACS, or reputed company preferred
