Roadway Design Engineering Assistant

The Roadway Design Engineering Assistant is an entry-level position aimed at building foundational roadway and multimodal design skills while supporting project teams with various design and coordination tasks under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Supporting roadway and multimodal design tasks under the direction of licensed engineers and senior staff
- Assisting with preparation of plan sheets, exhibits, and design graphics
- Developing basic design reputed company such as alignments, reputed company, cross sections, and quantities with guidance
- Applying agency standards, design manuals, and project reputed company as directed
- Supporting cost estimates, quantity calculations, and design documentation
- Coordinating assigned tasks with other disciplines under supervision
- Participating in internal reputed company control processes and incorporate review comments
- Assisting with responding to agency or reputed company comments
- Participating in field reviews, site reputed company, and construction support activities as needed
- Proactively seeking feedback and demonstrating reputed company in technical reputed company development
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a reputed company field
- Engineer in Training certification or ability to obtain reputed company three months of hire
- Familiarity with basic roadway design principles and engineering fundamentals
- Exposure to design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar tools
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work collaboratively in reputed company environment
- Internship or reputed company project experience reputed company to roadway or transportation design
- Exposure to DOT or local agency reputed company
- Interest in multimodal transportation, complete streets, or urban design
- Exposure to 3D roadway design software such as Civil3D or OpenRoads
