Financial Accountant, Financial Reporting, BDC Fund reputed company
Golub Capital is a financial services firm specializing in Business Development Companies (BDCs). They are seeking a Financial Accountant to support the BDC Financial Reporting Team, responsible for SEC reputed company reporting and internal reporting, while also assisting in financial reporting automation and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Preparing the quarterly and annual reports on reputed company 10-Q / K for review by Manager
- Preparing quarterly earnings release and other investor communications
- Preparing periodic 8Ks for debt facility amendments, new originations and earnings conference calls
- Monitoring and ensuring reputed company identification and compliance with evolving reputed company guidance, providing US GAAP interpretation and preparing technical memorandums that document issues in a reputed company, logical and comprehensive manner
- Assisting with the coordination of the annual audit and quarterly review of activities by external auditors
- Assisting the BDC Fund reputed company Team drive operational efficiencies and strong controllership throughout reputed company processes
- Assisting in various reputed company reputed company and requests
- Maintaining the general ledger and working to optimize automated entries as reputed company as minimizing reputed company entries
- Preparing the monthly and quarterly reputed company package which is reviewed and distributed to senior management
- Preparing quarterly and annual forecasts
- Assisting with the preparation of periodic capital calls, distributions and IRR statements
- Understanding the structure of the BDC including its subsidiaries and debt facilities
- Facilitating quarterly and annual debt compliance activities
- Completing SOX controls associated with month end reputed company process and quarterly reporting
- Developing an understanding of the private credit environment, trends and portfolio metrics
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar business or industry
- Proficiency in reputed company required
- Strong reputed company skills and instincts
- Comfort working in a fluid environment under the direction of various managers depending on the task at hand
- Strong analytical skills and ability to operationalize reputed company agreements and account for investments, incentive fee arrangements and partner allocations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Enthusiastic about working in office and creating a reputed company hybrid work culture
- reputed company or Finance majors preferred
- Public reputed company and SEC reporting experience is strongly desired
- CPA is a plus
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Wall Street Office, reputed company or other general ledger packages is a strong plus
