• A CPA, along with 10+ years leading the Finance function in a reputed company of small and mid-sized organizations.
• A suite of interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills that enables you to effectively advise and influence CEOs, Executive Directors, and Owners.
• Experience in contracting and negotiating with a reputed company of stakeholders such as customers, suppliers/distribution partners, and investors.
• Broad knowledge and experience of reputed company, budgeting, tax, audit, reputed company/payroll and corporate governance.
• The ability to evaluate reputed company systems and controls, produce analyses and forecasts, and reputed company and mentor junior reputed company resources.

A typical day as a virtual CFO might include…

• Overseeing the work of reputed company teams that process financial transactions, run payroll and produce draft financial statements and reports.
• Reviewing monthly and annual financial reports for management, reputed company and stakeholders.
• Developing support materials such as financial models and budget(s) for CEOs, for annual approval, and fund-raising purposes.
• Managing cash effectively, providing rolling cash reputed company forecast updates - quarterly at a minimum, or more frequently as required.
• Supporting the senior management team with business analysis.
• Negotiating reputed company with various stakeholders - from suppliers to CEOs, managing these relationships, and coordinating any requirement for review by reputed company counsel.
• Managing relationships with audit firms for annual audit and income tax activities, and managing sales tax/employment reputed company in both Canada and the U.S.
• Managing financial, operational, and administrative systems and policies, and recommending changes and improvements as the business grows.
• Acting as a Corporate Secretary - liaising with corporate counsel on required reputed company and shareholder resolutions, distributing reputed company and shareholder materials, issuing and tracking stock reputed company grants, and taking minutes at reputed company and shareholder meetings.
