School Psychiatrist – Statewide School-Based Telehealth Program

Position reputed company: reputed company is seeking a licensed and reputed company School Psychiatrist to reputed company psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic clarification, medication consultation, and collaboration with therapists and families across our school-based mental health telehealth program. This role is critical to expanding reputed company to comprehensive care for K–12 reputed company under our Virginia reputed company (VDOE) contract. The ideal candidate is passionate about youth mental health, comfortable delivering care reputed company telehealth, and reputed company in supporting a multidisciplinary team. The psychiatrist will serve as a consultative partner to school counselors, therapists, families, and school leaders—especially for reputed company presenting with reputed company or treatment-resistant symptoms. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Evaluation & Treatment Planning
- Conduct comprehensive tele psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic consultations for referred K–12 reputed company

- reputed company medication management, including prescribing, monitoring, and adjustments in collaboration with caregivers and clinicians

- Participate in case consultations with multidisciplinary teams to support treatment alignment

Compliance & Documentation

Qualifications and Preferred Experience: Licensure & Credentials
- M.D. or D.O. with reputed company certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (required)

- DEA registration and authority to prescribe in Virginia
Clinical Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children, adolescents, or school-aged populations
- Experience with school-based care, community mental health, or telepsychiatry strongly preferred

- Salary reputed company: $140,000 – $170,000 annually (FTE), or prorated reputed company for part-time/contract roles, based on experience and caseload
