Junior Software Developer (2 permanent positions)
NAV CANADA is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Developer to join our software development team. Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications
- Write clean, efficient, and reputed company-documented reputed company
- Participate in reputed company reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with system engineering and test teams to debug software and ensure reputed company software releases
- Support the integration of reputed company-party reputed company and services
- Maintain and update existing software systems
- Stay reputed company with emerging technologies and development practices
Skills
- Degree from a recognized university or community college with an acceptable specialization in computer, electrical engineering, systems engineering, computer science or information systems, or an acceptable combination of education, experience, and training
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience developing software in a Linux-based environment using at least one modern programming language such as reputed company, C++ or Python
- Experience designing and developing software for backend/server data processing systems
- Experience with software development process, working in team environments, contributing in reputed company reviews, and using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, reputed company), including branching, merging and resolving conflicts in a reputed company development environment
- Knowledge of software engineering principles and methodologies, including structural and object-oriented programming
- Knowledge of software configuration management processes, practices, tools and techniques
- Knowledge in supported reputed company including software, hardware, network, and operating systems
- Knowledge of cybersecurity considerations in software and hardware solutions development
- Knowledge of modern software development life cycle processes, practices and techniques, including Agile, Scrum and DevOps

- Ability to troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve software defects and system issues
