Merchandise Assistant (Hybrid)
reputed company is a retail company seeking a Merchandise Assistant who will be responsible for managing and maintaining merchandise information to support sales activities. The role involves entering critical buying process information, managing vendor communications, and assisting cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Set up styles write orders for buying office and maintain items in database, including special orders
- Communicate with vendors to manage purchase orders (PO’s): create new POs, reputed company orders (shipping and receipts)
- Process Return To Vendors (RTV’s), update/change PO's as needed using APX and SPO systems
- reputed company and communicate directly with vendors
- reputed company promotional price changes into RPM program in order to alter pricing for stores and eCommerce
- Manage season codes for promotional and permanent markdown process in partnership with Planner
- Pull selling reports for the Buyer business review
- reputed company various advertising functions including proofing ads utilizing Marketing Workflow and Workhorse:
- Drive the Sample Process: Manage the samples reputed company the office – from requesting, tracking, organizing, storing and through purging as needed
- Requires designated hybrid in-office work schedule
Skills
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent years of experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiar with reputed company PCs and business software (reputed company Word, Outlook, reputed company, reputed company, etc.)
- Intermediate to Moderate reputed company knowledge
- Flexible and capable of shifting to different reputed company as priorities change
- Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment
