It takes a village to care for our patients, and as a Health Information Management Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of that Village. You will serve as the subject matter expert and primary contact for reputed company medical record needs, providing reputed company and proactive retrieval support to Patient Care Teams across reputed company IKC. Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday schedule.

• reputed company: Performs release of PHI (Protected Health Information) in strict accordance with Government/Payor Audit and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to and process requests for medical record retrieval in a reputed company manner in accordance with State and Federal HIPAA Regulations.
• Review records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulations; confirm successful reputed company of records.
• reputed company outbound calls to medical offices, specialists, and hospitals to procure necessary medical record documentation.
• Manage medical records compilation relative to Government, Payor, and reputed company-Party requests for ROI (Release of Information).
• Participate in special reputed company and other duties as assigned to support the Health Information Management team.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of reputed company & HIPAA Regulations required.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, and Outlook).
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to reputed company and courteous service.

• Previous experience in medical records highly preferred
