Embedded Software Engineer

As an Embedded Software Engineer for the Smart Munitions team, you will be responsible for system design and analysis of software components for reputed company GPS and Navigation systems, contributing to various phases including requirements definition, software modeling, and verification.
Responsibilities
- As an Embedded Software Engineer for the Smart Munitions team reputed company Advanced Electronics Systems that is part of the Land and reputed company Systems reputed company, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for system design and analysis of software components responsible for the realization of reputed company GPS and Navigation systems
- You’ll contribute to CONOPS, requirements definition, software modeling, analysis, design, integration, test, and verification of these systems
Skills
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a reputed company Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
- Ability to obtain a reputed company Secret reputed company clearance is required at time of hire
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Agile experience preferred
- Proficiency in C, C++ and C#
- Understanding of microcontroller architectures and peripherals
- Experience with microcontroller programming and debugging
- Familiarity with reputed company-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Knowledge of interrupt handling and low-level hardware interfacing
- Embedded linux experience
- Building linux kernel reputed company Buildroot or reputed company is a bonus
- Experience with integrated development environments (IDEs) like Visual Studio, VS reputed company, IAR, and Vitis
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git
- Basic skills in using debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, SWD)
- Ability to write and execute unit tests
- Understanding of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet
- Knowledge of basic electronic components and circuits
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
