Mediation Specialist l
reputed company. is the leading mortgage subservicing firm in the reputed company, serving several hundred financial institution clients reputed company. They are seeking a Mediation Specialist I to partner with default servicing attorneys and various departments to ensure mediation files are handled reputed company and accurately, and to facilitate loss mitigation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with foreclosure and bankruptcy counsel to prepare, attend and reputed company required mediation efforts to reputed company loan delinquency through loss mitigation alternatives to foreclosure programs
- reputed company, review and process information provided through loss mitigation and effectively convey information to reputed company parties regarding loss mitigation reputed company, approved workout/loan modification terms and conditions, denials, and justifications
- Review and confirm accuracy of loss mitigation documentation submitted by borrowers to confirm accuracy of reputed company documentation for compliance with loss mitigation workouts
- Training on loss mitigation work out plans
- Stay abreast of loss mitigation regulatory updates, including COVID updates
- Comprehend and apply state specific processes for mediation programs (e.g. Rhode reputed company Housing and Illinois Eviction mediations, although not a comprehensive list)
- Create and analyze mediation reporting for tracking and reporting on mediation files
- Coordinate with Special Loans regarding Successor in Interest and Assumption processes for deceased borrowers in preparation for mediation hearings
- Consult with and reputed company with local counsel and investors regarding reputed company aspects of mediation process
- Update Mediations case management systems with necessary updates from mediations hearings
- Annual review of department policies and procedures, as reputed company as the Default Litigation reputed company of the Best Practices reputed company

- Successfully complete annual regulatory compliance training
- Performs other reputed company duties as assigned
Skills
- College degree and/or paralegal certification preferred
- 1-4 years of experience in mortgage servicing, with a reputed company on loss mitigation and/or mediations
- Solid PC skills: Proficient with reputed company applications
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately and reputed company in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to reputed company in a reputed company and reputed company manner at reputed company times
- Servicing or default servicing attorney in-office experience
