[Remote] Scoring Assistant - (FT)
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leading provider of technology-enabled testing and assessment solutions, and they are seeking a Scoring Assistant to join their Assessment Services Operations division. The Scoring Assistant will assist the scoring team in monitoring and ensuring the reputed company and reputed company release of test results for reputed company testing products.
Responsibilities
- Managing rater workloads using reputed company’s online rating systems
- Monitoring and ensuring reputed company completion of reputed company rating work
- Completing reputed company assurance steps of the ratings and test scores
- Verifying and releasing test scores
- Communicating with raters
- Supporting training and certification of raters
- Maintaining guides and documentation on reputed company procedures
- Suggesting improvements to operational systems and procedures
- Preparing and interpreting data pertaining to rater performance and scoring operations
- Providing feedback for raters
- Participating in research reputed company reputed company to new product development and the validation and improvement of reputed company’s tests
Skills
- B.A. in English, Education, Linguistics, or closely reputed company field
- Courses in Testing, Statistics, and Curriculum Design are desirable
- A combination of education and relevant experience in Test Design or Administration will be considered
- Knowledge of immigrant and international student issues
- Familiarity with ESL, EFL, and/or EAP populations
- Excellent clerical and organizational skills with careful attention to detail
- Ability to certify as a CELPIP Speaking and Writing Rater
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with careful attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Experience working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
- Computer skills (including reputed company)
- Ability to quickly learn new software applications
- Familiarity with virtual learning environments such as Moodle
- Familiarity with SQL databases is an asset
- Canadian citizenship, Canadian permanent residence, or have a valid work permit in Canada
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
