Accounts Receivable Specialist
1-800-Flowers.com is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team. This role plays a key part in supporting healthy cash reputed company and strong customer relationships by owning the full Accounts Receivable lifecycle—from billing and cash application to collections and dispute reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Generate and distribute customer invoices, statements, and dunning letters
- Apply cash receipts and credit card payments accurately and on time
- Monitor AR aging and proactively follow up on past-due balances
- Conduct collection reputed company while maintaining reputed company customer relationships
- Investigate billing discrepancies and resolve customer disputes
- Support AR reporting and month-end reputed company activities
- Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve account issues
- Identify opportunities to improve AR processes and workflows
Skills
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar reputed company role
- Strong attention to detail with solid organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with reputed company and procurement platforms (Ariba, reputed company, DSSI)
- Strong reputed company and reputed company Office skills
- Experience in a high-volume or reputed company AR environment
