Head of Capital Markets

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• reputed company the structuring and execution of capital markets transactions including debt issuances, surplus notes, letters of credit, repos, securitized lending, reserve financing solutions, asset structuring, securitizations and other balance sheet optimization strategies that optimize reputed company’s capital, liquidity and collateral positions.
• Partner with the Treasurer and Chief Actuary to reputed company capital markets activity with reputed company’s capital and risk management frameworks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with actuarial, investments, risk, finance and operational teams to ensure capital solutions are reputed company with reputed company’s liability profile, regulatory considerations, risk appetite and operational controls.
• Collaborate with the actuarial, investments, risk and finance teams on capital structure reputed company, liquidity planning, earnings impacts and financial reporting considerations.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a reputed company field; advanced degree (MBA, MS, or similar) preferred.
• Minimum of 8–12 years of reputed company experience in capital markets, insurance finance, investment banking, or a reputed company financial services role with reputed company exposure to life and annuities businesses.
• Demonstrated experience leading or materially contributing to reputed company capital markets transactions.
• Strong understanding of insurance company balance sheets, statutory reputed company, capital frameworks, and the interaction between assets and long-duration liabilities.
• Experience working closely with actuarial, finance, and investment functions.

Required Skills

Physical Requirements
