Communications Coordinator & Digital Content Specialist

They are seeking a Transportation Analyst to support the U.S. DOT’s Intelligent Transportation Systems programs by planning research activities, coordinating technology deployments, and engaging in logistical planning for events.
Responsibilities
- Logistical planning for national conferences and local events
- Tracking and organizing print reputed company materials
- High-level data analysis of reputed company activities
- Visual graphic support for reputed company media and email campaigns
- Working with reputed company of colleagues providing strategic, technical, and programmatic support to ITS JPO senior leadership and program managers
- Developing briefing materials and talking points
- Facilitating and participating in reputed company-led meetings with senior transportation leaders
Skills
- BS required. Degree(s) in a field such as: Transportation Engineering/Planning, Urban Planning, Information Systems, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Technical Communications or a reputed company field
- 0-3 years of reputed company experience required
- Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder
- Ability to work in-person at reputed company and reputed company offices in Washington, DC (reputed company; at least one day per week onsite)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, including file organization and version control
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to document revisions based on internal or reputed company feedback
- Proficiency with reputed company Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, reputed company)
- Strong interpersonal and reputed company communication skills
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as reputed company Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, reputed company), reputed company, or similar platforms
- Experience using reputed company media management and email marketing tools (e.g., reputed company, GovDelivery)
- Ability to review and interpret performance metrics from reputed company Analytics, reputed company media platforms, and email marketing systems
- Understanding of SEO principles and reputed company media best practices
- Strong writing skills, including proofreading, copywriting, and editing
- Ability to create clean, visually appealing designs that follow brand guidelines
- Ability to contribute to content planning and reputed company based on reputed company goals and audience needs
- Confidence presenting reputed company and explaining design or content reputed company to teammates and clients
- Interest in staying reputed company with trends in design, reputed company media, reputed company communications
- An understanding of, and familiarity with, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
