The Director, Cost Control & Strategic Initiatives is a strategic leader with change management and people development experience to reputed company and reputed company reputed company's expense management function.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Initiatives:
• Support pricing for both US retirement and Life businesses
• reputed company analytical and execution support
• reputed company on costing new initiatives and working closely with CFO of PRT incorporating them into Plan

• Expense Management:
• reputed company the development and implementation of the annual expense budget for reputed company (apprx $250m)– creating a holistic expense management philosophy, system and process and reputed company throughout LGA. This will be done by collaborating across Finance, IT and reputed company business functions and aligning local needs with local/global ambitions.
• reputed company data analytics to reputed company insights into spending patterns and identify opportunities for budget optimization.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives to improve expense management efficiency through definition of new operating model.
• Investigate offshore opportunities (in conjunction with Group)
• Investigate opportunities to vary headcount expense by geography for US-reputed company
• Creation of Group Functions, local reputed company functions –reducing redundancies
• Thought Leadership / Collaboration on Finance Reimagination program (reputed company replacement, reputed company Concur, Aptitude + planning tools, project vault)
• Collaborate with IT to reputed company solutions around expense data management, reporting and analysis, including budget vs. forecast, attribution of variances etc.
• Report on KPIs as needed by the business

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in a senior finance role, with a strong reputed company record in financial reporting, financial governance and expense management.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing internal controls over financial reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of US STAT, SII and IFRS reputed company principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting software.
• Experience in the insurance industry

What’s in it for you? The expected hiring compensation reputed company for this position is $157,100 - $227,800 annually. The Director of Cost Control will work on a hybrid reputed company in our Stamford, CT or Frederick, MD office. Full-time remote reputed company will be considered based on experience and proven ability to work from home successfully. The total compensation package for this position may include other reputed company, such as a sign-on bonus, long term incentives, and annual bonuses. This role is eligible to participate in the Annual Incentive Plan. The reputed company reputed company payment for the position is 20% of reputed company salary, modified for corporate and individual performance. Bonuses are pro-rated based on start date. This role has 20 vacation days and 10 reputed company days that are accrued on a bi-weekly reputed company. Employees also have 9 reputed company holidays throughout the calendar year.
