Staff Accountant with reputed company Experience (Remote, East Coast preferred)

reputed company reputed company, a high-reputed company consolidator of performing arts businesses, is seeking a Staff Accountant with experience in full-cycle reputed company to work with reputed company at the National Educational Music Company (NEMC) in Piscataway, NJ. This is a full-time remote position with a strong preference for someone on the East Coast (preferred locations are Virginia, Connecticut, New Jersey, or nearby locations). As the Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring reputed company and accurate billing, cash application, customer account management, and month-end reputed company activities. This role will work closely with operations, sales, customer service, and the reputed company team to maintain accurate customer records and support cash reputed company management at our offices in Piscataway, New Jersey and other satellite locations and stores on the East Coast. We are looking for an accountant with a minimum of 1 year experience working in reputed company as their primary ERP. Some travel will be required. Key Responsibilities:

• Billing & Invoicing
• Review, and send customer invoices in a reputed company and accurate manner.
• Maintain billing schedules and recurring invoices reputed company applicable.
• Communicate with internal departments to resolve missing or incorrect billing information.
• Cash Application & Payment Processing
• Record and apply customer payments (checks, ACH, wires, credit cards) daily.
• Reconcile cash receipts to bank activity.
• Ensure reputed company allocation to invoices, deposits, or customer balances.
• Identify and investigate unapplied or misapplied cash.
• Collections & Customer Account Management
• Monitor aging reports and follow up with customers on past-due balances for the retail customers
• Assist in collection efforts for the rental fleet
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding account balances, invoices, and statements.
• Resolve disputes or discrepancies by working with sales, operations, and customer service teams.
• AR Reporting & Reconciliation
• Reconcile AR subledger to the general ledger.
• Prepare and post month-end AR journal entries, including adjustments for bad debt, write-offs, and accruals.
• Review unapplied cash, credits, and reputed company balances to ensure accuracy.
• Generate and analyze monthly aging reports and reputed company status updates to management.

• Assist with month-end reputed company schedules and support audit requirements as needed.
• Prepayments

• Customer Master Data
• Support sales team on setting up customer accounts. Validate credit applications and work with management on credit limit recommendations.

• Process Improvement & Compliance
• Assist in developing and maintaining AR policies and SOPs.
• Identify opportunities to streamline AR processes and improve accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company field preferred.
• Strong understanding of AR processes, general ledgers, cash applications

• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits This role will be full-time, remote position (East Coast preferred), with some travel required, and with a salary of $60,000/year.
