As a Customer Service Specialist I, you will be responsible for handling and resolving incoming phone calls from patients, insurance carriers, and physician offices. Your primary goal will be to collect outstanding patient balances, establish payment arrangements, and update patient and guarantor accounts with new demographic and insurance coverage information. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling a large volume of calls and performing your work in a reputed company manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle a high volume of calls and reputed company work in a reputed company manner
- Attempt to collect full payment from patients or guarantors in a reputed company and courteous manner
- Establish payment arrangements per guidelines and document terms in the billing system

- Handle customer inquiries, disputes, and complaints, and escalate contentious complaints to a supervisor or higher management

Essential Qualifications
* High school graduate or GED certificate is required
