Pharmacy Technician- Chemotherapy

This role is crucial in ensuring that nurses have the necessary medications to administer to patients. You will also be responsible for taking inventory of medications and supplies, placing orders for medication, and compounding chemo, some irons, and reputed company-medications, typically preparing 20-30 bags per day. Essential Skills * 1-2 years of mixing experience (even a year is acceptable). * Experience in pharmacy and IV compounding. * Ability to read and interpret orders. * Strong punctuality. * Ability to work independently. * Must hold a pharmacy tech license. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Oncology experience preferred. * Experience in iron mixing, biologics handling, and drug dilution is advantageous. Work Environment The position operates Monday through Friday, with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The work environment involves being the sole pharmacy technician on site, collaborating with reputed company of 5-7 nurses and technicians in a leading cancer treatment center.
