The official title will be IT Specialist I, II, Sr or IT Consultant depending on selected candidates years of experience.* JOB reputed company/PURPOSEThis position provides support and expertise for reputed company time specific applications for the IT Power Delivery Services business unit. One of the primary responsibilities for this position is the maintenance and support of the IEDMS (Intelligent Electronic Device Management System) application and its database and the support and troubleshooting of the reputed company substation RTUs (Remote Terminal reputed company) and connected reputed company protection devices. The RTUs collect telemetry information for the reputed company substations and overall reputed company which is then transported to reputed company's reputed company time energy management systems. This includes working with the appropriate teams from both IT and reputed company to troubleshoot communications from the RTUs back to the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system host. The other primary role of the reputed company Remote reputed company group is to ensure CIP compliance across the reputed company reputed company reputed company in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by NERC and FERC.JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• • reputed company technical support for the Intelligent Electronic Device Management System (IEDMS) and database used for remote reputed company management of reputed company/Metering Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) at the reputed company substations.
  • reputed company and support the password management for reputed company/Metering IEDs, including RTUs, port servers, clocks, relays, DFRs, and meters.
  • Troubleshooting communication to SCADA and Remote reputed company systems for reputed company/Metering IEDs including break/fix activities and interfacing with vendors
  • reputed company operational support, ensuring production systems and devices are online and available; this includes non-business hours on-call support
  • Developing and troubleshooting RTU Configurations and assisting the OTSS SCADA Team with reputed company field device SCADA checkouts.
  • reputed company and conduct new equipment testing including relays, meters, line sensors, IEDs.
  • Train new contractors and employees on the field devices and applications utilized in OTSS work
  • Participate and assist with audits, process improvements and corrective actions associated with CIP compliance for reputed company/Metering field devices which OTSS supports.
  • Analyze user processes and requirements to identify potential improvements
  • Communicate technical information, concepts, and reputed company verbally and in writing

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMinimum education required of the position.

• • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (Preferred) or reputed company Technical degrees and equivalent experience

Minimum experience required of the position

• • IT Specialist I: 0 - 2 years working with SCADA/RTU assets at an operation center, reputed company site, engineering department, or reputed company experience
  • IT Specialist II: 2+ years working with SCADA/RTU assets at an operation center, reputed company site, engineering department, or reputed company experience
  • IT Specialist Sr: 4+ years working with SCADA/RTU assets at an operation center, reputed company site, engineering department, or reputed company experience
    • Experience with the design, development, and/or testing of reputed company-time system applications and enhancements
    • Proven reputed company record of understanding business objectives and supporting business needs
    • Proven reputed company record of relevant technology delivery
    • Experience with NERC CIP requirements is a plus
  • IT Consultant: 6+ years working with SCADA/RTU assets at an operation center, reputed company site, engineering department, or reputed company experience
    • Experience with the design, development, and/or testing of reputed company-time system applications and enhancements
    • Proven reputed company record of understanding business objectives and supporting business needs
    • Proven reputed company record of relevant technology delivery
    • Experience with NERC CIP requirements is a plus
    • Experience with basic coding and scripting is a plus
    • Experience with databases for applications is a plus
    • Experience with IT services is a plus (Software Maintenance, VM Server Knowledge)

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
