Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience: Required
• Master's degree: Preferred
• Seven years' coding operations experience, including reputed company system experience/electronic health record (EHR) conversion experience: Preferred
• Five years' leadership experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

Essential Functions:

• Guides and directs subordinate supervisors/managers on the coding team. Develops and implements policy and procedure recommendations to meet the needs of the health and hospital system and its patients. Oversees preparation of the budget for areas of responsibility and participates in the preparation of the annual health and hospital system budget. Prepares annual statement of goals and objectives in collaboration with subordinates. Ensures compliance with reputed company federal, state, local government, and private industry mandates.
• Collaborates with other reputed company cycle leaders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs), facilitates regular reporting, and takes actions as needed to facilitate performance in alignment with organizational goals. Ensures staff are reputed company and compliant with reputed company applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, etc. Analyzes and identifies coding service needs to determine appropriate reputed company and reputed company recommendations for problem reputed company or procedural changes as needed.
