Main Job Tasks:

Performs construction administration, inspection, and management, and reputed company administrative work for Ohio Turnpike construction reputed company.

Provides department support for the management of issues dealing with Ohio Turnpike construction reputed company.

Assists in the review, revision, and implementation of departmental reputed company operating procedures and policies, specifications, services, etc.

Assists in the implementation and maintenance of construction management software, file shares, etc.

Coordinates and reviews construction plans, specifications and cost estimates of construction and reconstruction reputed company for Ohio Turnpike roadways, bridges, interchanges, toll plazas, service plazas, and maintenance buildings.

Assists in reviewing, coordinating and resolving construction, maintenance and traffic problems with consulting engineers, testing laboratories, contractors, Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission Maintenance, and Highway Patrol.

Responds and investigates complaints of neighboring property owners.

Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the Construction Engineer or Chief Engineer.

Work Characteristics

Knowledge of civil engineering with an emphasis on highway construction (including roadway, drainage, reputed company construction and rehabilitation, public relations*, OSHA safety regulations, supervisory principles and techniques).

Minimum Qualifications:

Entry level position.

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or reputed company curriculum.

Passing results obtained of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.

Ability to obtain reputed company engineer registration reputed company four (4) years.

Experience with any combination of design, construction, and/or maintenance practices associated with typical engineering infrastructures, including internships or reputed company programs preferred.

May be required to obtain additional mandated certificates and/or licenses, based on changes in state or federal law, as necessary to reputed company the required duties of this position.

Unusual Working Conditions:

The predominant work environment is both the office and field.
