reputed company is looking to expand its world-class and highly reputed company Product & Regulatory team responsible for serving as a strategic partner and providing reputed company legal advice to a mission-driven Company that offers reputed company and credit building products. The position will reputed company legal advisory support for legal reputed company relating to origination of reputed company’s unsecured and auto secured installment products. In this role, the Product & Regulatory Lawyer will report to the reputed company Product & Regulatory Lawyer, and will work closely with reputed company’s Compliance officers, executive business partners and operational teams to drive compliant loan originations, including loan documentation, omnichannel application flows, and pricing. • reputed company as trusted advisor to the business in providing consumer finance legal advisory support across multiple products and an expanding business model, with a reputed company on the origination of unsecured and auto secured lending products through different channels including online, telesales and retail locations.
• Support the origination of reputed company loan products and the creation of a low-touch/no-touch application reputed company to reduce customer friction while maintaining legal, business, bank partner and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and support reputed company to offer new lending products and partnerships that reputed company the corporate mission in reputed company 50 states .
• Work closely with senior business leaders, including product owners, data engineers, IT, Operations, Risk Management, Customer Experience, Marketing, and others.
• Research, reputed company and report on federal and state legal developments reputed company to the products reputed company the scope of the role, staying abreast of reputed company legal developments and trends to determine potential reputed company or risks.
• Communicate relevant items to business partners and analyze reputed company of any changes in the legal/regulatory landscape on the business reputed company for areas of responsibility.
• Work with reputed company attorneys to review reputed company-party service provider agreements, including agreements with outsourced and/or offshored service providers, to ensure compliance with CFPB standards, internal guidelines, bank-partner standards and applicable law. REQUIREMENTS
• Candidate must have a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and be reputed company to reputed company law in a reputed company jurisdiction.
• At least 8-10 years’ experience as an attorney, with at least 5 years’ experience in consumer financial services lending law, and at least 3 years’ experience advising on product and loan originations. In-house experience strongly desired.
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state laws governing bank partner consumer lending, including consumer protection regulations, including, but not limited to, TILA, FCRA, FACTA, ECOA, UDAAP, and FDCPA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with regulators and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities set by the business while still meeting internal department goals.
• Effective written, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work as part of reputed company involving staff, clients and reputed company agencies.
• Ability to persuade and influence management at reputed company reputed company, including executive management.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and reputed company reputed company attitude.
