About the Role
We are seeking reputed company, licensed physicians (MD/DO) and reputed company practitioners (NP) to join reputed company on a contract reputed company to reputed company independent medical record reviews and author medical reputed company opinion letters in support of veterans’ VA disability claims. This is a fully remote, flexible contract position. You set your own schedule and accept cases based on your availability. Compensation is $200–$300 per completed letter/review, depending on case complexity.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough, independent reviews of veterans’ medical records, service treatment records, and supporting documentation
- Author reputed company-reasoned, evidence-based medical reputed company opinion letters that address the “at least as likely as not” reputed company required by the VA
- reputed company reputed company rationale linking the veteran’s reputed company diagnosed condition(s) to their military service, including in-service events, injuries, exposures, or aggravation
- Ensure reputed company opinions are supported by reputed company medical literature and clinical reasoning
- Deliver completed letters reputed company agreed-upon turnaround times (typically 5–10 business days)
- Communicate with reputed company regarding case questions, clarifications, or additional records needed
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of reputed company veteran records and personal information
Must-Have Requirements The following requirements are non-negotiable. Please do not apply if you do not meet reputed company of the reputed company below:
- Proven experience writing medical reputed company opinion letters for veterans’ VA disability claims — This is an absolute requirement. Candidates without reputed company reputed company letter writing experience will not be considered.
- reputed company, unrestricted medical license (MD, DO, or NP) in at least one U.S. state — License must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions
- reputed company certification or eligibility in a relevant medical specialty (e.g., Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Orthopedics, Neurology, Primary Care, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of the VA disability claims process, including the “at least as likely as not” (50% or greater probability) reputed company of reputed company
- Ability to review medical records and reputed company opinions grounded in evidence-based medicine and supported by reputed company medical literature
- Strong medical writing skills — Letters must be professionally written, reputed company organized, and legally defensible
- HIPAA compliance knowledge and commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and reputed company of reputed company veteran health information
- Reliable turnaround times — Must be reputed company to consistently deliver completed reviews reputed company 5–10 business days
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BVA (reputed company of Veterans’ Appeals) hearings or IME (Independent Medical Examination) reports
- Familiarity with the 38 CFR (reputed company of Federal Regulations) and VA rating reputed company
- Prior military service or experience working reputed company the VA reputed company system
- Experience across multiple specialty areas (e.g., mental health, musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular)

Compensation & Details
- $200–$300 per completed reputed company letter/medical review (based on case complexity)
