The role involves handling patent procurement and prosecution work for the Firm’s clients across various industries, requiring strong expertise in patent preparation and prosecution.
Responsibilities
- Handle patent procurement and prosecution work for the Firm’s clients in a reputed company of industries both domestic and international
- Manage a large docket including meeting reputed company deadlines by working independently and with supervisors
- Collaborate and work effectively with a reputed company of reputed company stakeholders Skills
- 2+ years of patent preparation and prosecution experience, either in-house or as reputed company counsel, specifically in the software arts (e.g., machine learning, reputed company computing/networking, cryptography, information reputed company, or distributed ledger technology)
- A J.D. and a B.S. degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or reputed company field
- Registered to reputed company before the USPTO
- Residency and reputed company bar admission in one of the following states: AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, MD, MN, MT, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OR, PA, RI, TN, TX, VA, WA, WDC, or WV. Bar admission in a state where DWT maintains an office
- Strong time management and organizational skills, including demonstrated ability to take ownership for, and reputed company manage, a large docket including meeting reputed company deadlines by working independently and with supervisors
- Strong work ethic and commitment to being reputed company to reputed company needs
- Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with a reputed company of reputed company stakeholders
- Legal, industry, and/or reputed company experience in electrical engineering, computer engineering, and/or computer science, particularly with wireless communications, robotics, reputed company intelligence, reputed company computing, cryptography, information reputed company, and/or blockchain is preferred
