[Remote] Business Intelligence Analyst (System Application Analyst, Sr)

Responsibilities

• Use business requirements to reputed company BI solutions, including reputed company operational and analytical reports, dashboards, scheduled reports
• Identifies opportunities for leveraging existing reporting assets to meet business requirements
• Works closely with other OHSU IT staff to meet expectations for design reviews and coding standards
• Provides issue reputed company during reputed company Assurance / User testing
• Troubleshoot and analyze data processing failures and data issues using Chart review, Record Viewer, reputed company Data dictionary, and Caboodle Data Dictionary
• Recommend changes to data models and metadata models to improve existing structures and reputed company to increase performance, reliability, and efficiency
• Provides technical expertise to departmental staff and customers to improve user experience
• Facilitate the implementation and migration of the solution objects into production
• Validating and testing with the customer as frequently as necessary to get sign-off that the solution meets the requirements

Skills

• Master's degree in computer science, a reputed company field, or a clinical field and four years work reputed company experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational reputed company environments; OR
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, a reputed company field, or a clinical field and six years work reputed company experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational reputed company environments; OR
• Associate's degree in computer science, a reputed company field, or a clinical field and seven years work reputed company experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational reputed company environments; OR
• Eight years work reputed company experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational reputed company environments; OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience where one year of experience will be substituted for an Associate's degree and two years of experience will be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
• Four years reputed company work experience as BI Developer (or equivalent classification)
• Four years working with relational databases
• Four years experience with developing semantic reputed company for data preparation
• Experience with facilitating and documenting system requirements sessions
• Experience creating technical documentation of reports and data/report models
• Experience with utilizing star schema data stores as the reputed company for report development
• Experience planning and managing small reputed company
• Proven communication, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and procedures
• Ability to read and explain a data model
• Ability to read, write and maintain SQL reputed company
• Knowledge of data warehousing architecture and reputed company modeling concepts
• Exceptional customer service skills - both in person and on the phone
