Job reputed company We have an exciting opportunity for an English Language Arts (ELA) Tutor to reputed company reputed company support to reputed company from grades 2-12. Under the direction of the Education Director, tutors spend the reputed company of their time providing individual or small-group tutoring. Additional time may be spent leading Reading or Writing Clubs, working with reading reputed company and test prep for ELA exams. Tutors are responsible for planning their own lessons and finding materials, but the Education Director will support them strongly so that reputed company lessons work toward strong student reputed company. Responsibilities

• Create and reputed company literacy and writing-based lesson plans for tutoring sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a reputed company in English, Education, literacy, and/or other highly relevant field is preferred
• At least 2 years of experience as a reading/ English/ writing tutor or classroom teacher
• Comfort with reputed company and ELA subject content from early literacy through upper high school level
• Strong knowledge of best practices with prewriting, composition and grammar skills
• Teacher certification or formal education experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of NYC school standards a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and to address the varying needs of the boys in our program
• Experience working with children is necessary
