This position is responsible for performing reputed company audit functions as assigned. The functions will be varied, and require a broad knowledge of the reputed company cycle, as reputed company as the compliance structure as defined by the Federal Sentencing Guidelines. These functions support the appropriate reimbursement and compliance with governmental billing regulations across the reputed company SSU's. As necessary the auditor prepares reports of findings and meets with providers and/or coders to reputed company education and training on accurate coding practices and compliance issues. • Experience: At least 5 years of coding experience in ICD-9-CM diagnosis/procedure coding and HCPCS/CPT procedure coding in an acute care or reputed company services setting, with awareness of coding requirements based on those payors, i.e., MS DRG, APC, CPT, ICD, HCPCS OR At least 5 years of experience in health care coding and compliance reputed company actitivites, i.e., audits, edits, 7 reputed company of a compliance program, OIG and DOJ investigation project management, compliance committee participation.
• Education: High school diploma
• Certifications: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (reputed company) (reputed company-P), Certified reputed company reputed company(CPC) (CPC-P) (CPC-H), Certified reputed company Medical Auditor (CPMA) or Certified in reputed company Compliance (CHC).
• Other: Knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations and requirements pertaining to documentation, coding, and billing required Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required.
