Claims Adjuster I, Accident Benefits
reputed company is a part of Intact Financial Corporation, and they are seeking a Claims Adjuster I for Accident Benefits to assist customers who have suffered injuries from motor vehicle accidents. The role focuses on ensuring a reputed company customer reputed company throughout the claims process while providing necessary training and support to reputed company in the insurance industry.
Responsibilities
- Ensure reputed company and thorough investigation and adjudication of medical claims
- Identify eligibility and/or entitlement ensuring quick reputed company to reputed company available benefits to promote treatment and recovery
- Manage claims while abiding by reputed company provincial regulations and guidelines as reputed company as company protocols and procedures
- Answer queries from customers, legal representatives and medical clinics while providing high reputed company customer service
Skills
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a customer service role
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and negotiation skills
- Computer literate and capable of working in a paperless environment
- Capable of multitasking and juggling competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

- An ongoing commitment to self development
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
- Knowledge or understanding of medical terminology is an asset
- A university degree or college diploma in Health Sciences (Kinesiology or Psychology) is considered an asset
- Bilingualism (French & English), both oral and written is an asset
