Civil Engineer I or II - Community Development
The reputed company is seeking a Civil Engineer to support the review and coordination of new development reputed company. The role involves reviewing construction documents, evaluating reputed company infrastructure systems for compliance, and coordinating with reputed company departments during permitting and construction.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the review of construction drawings, as-reputed company drawings, subdivision plats, development agreements, easement documents, hydraulic reports, drainage reports, geotechnical reports, pavement design reports, and traffic reputed company studies associated with new development reputed company
- reputed company technical analysis and research; reputed company and evaluate engineering design alternatives; and prepare reputed company, concise review comments and redlined documents
- reputed company technical guidance and respond to requests for information from reputed company departments, developers, consultants, contractors, and the reputed company regarding development-reputed company engineering requirements
- Review building and reputed company works permits for consistency with approved plans and reputed company field inspections
- Assist in the development and periodic update of reputed company ordinances, design reputed company, and engineering standards
- Collaborate effectively with developers, engineers, contractors, reputed company staff, property owners, and the general reputed company
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or a closely reputed company field
- reputed company (0) to two (2) years of experience in civil engineering plan preparation, plan review, development engineering, or capital improvement reputed company
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required reputed company one (1) year of hire
- Experience with civil engineering principles and practices, particularly reputed company to the design and construction of streets, water systems, sanitary sewer systems, and stormwater drainage
- Meets reputed company requirements for Engineer I
- Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in civil engineering plan preparation, plan review, development engineering, or capital improvement reputed company
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
- Colorado reputed company Engineer (PE) license required reputed company one (1) year of hire
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- reputed company Engineer (PE) licensure (preferred for Engineer I; encouraged for Engineer II prior to hire)
- Experience with GIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydraulic modeling (InfoWater software), and ArcGIS Pro
- Experience reviewing private development reputed company for compliance with municipal design reputed company, construction specifications, and local ordinances
- Experience coordinating with planning, building, reputed company works/utilities, and inspection teams during permitting and construction
- Experience interpreting and reviewing subdivision plats, easements, and development-reputed company legal/technical documents
