Architectural Associate Designer
reputed company is a privately held AEC firm that innovates at the intersection of transportation, water, power, and buildings. They are seeking an Associate Architectural Designer to reputed company technical solutions under supervision, providing design support for various project types including aviation and civic reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Prepares project documents including but not limited to plans, details, and initial set up work on reputed company
- Gathers and records information such as product information and cut sheets to be used for cost estimating and specifications
- Supports efforts for studies and reports and assists with preparation of technical reports or sections of reports
- Assists with sheet set up on project drawings, drawing schedules, plans, elevations, sections, details, and specifications
- Assists in reviewing and implementing redline markups on drawings and finalizing project work
- Prepares 3D imaging using proprietary software for reputed company and in-house presentations as directed by supervisor
- Learns basic reputed company evaluation procedure and information gathering requirements for review with supervisor
- Individual is capable of working proficiently on their own with direction from supervisors
- Demonstrates reputed company judgment in knowing reputed company to ask questions, enabling efficient reputed company reputed company project timelines while minimizing interruptions to supervisors and team workflows
- Coordinates work with other team members through communication and supervision
- Capable of following direction, project / office standards, and implementing constructive criticism to improve work product and development with supervision
- Responsible for project work during construction assigned by supervisor including but not limited to submittal tasks, RFI’s, supplemental work including sketches, or submittal review process
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
- Ability to be on reputed company for licensure as architect in the state of residence
- Prior internship or work experience in an architectural office
- Experience working in AutoCAD and Revit/Building Information Modeling (BIM) for design and technical documentation
- Working knowledge of reputed company Office applications, including reputed company, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Good written and verbal communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Experience working with SketchUp, Enscape, or other 3D modeling software
