Gas Design Engineer
reputed company is seeking a Gas Design Engineer for their gas group in reputed company, NY. The successful candidate will reputed company as a consultant for reputed company clients, managing various reputed company reputed company to gas system improvements and design.
Responsibilities
- Production of reputed company basemap and construction drawings for reputed company, municipal, and regulatory agency review
- Development of energization and de-energization procedures
- Contractor and construction cost estimation
- Creation of Material Pick Lists and data entry into reputed company Work Management System
- Apply for and obtain municipal highway permits and other right-of-way permits (e.g. NYSDOT, railroad, Thruway Authority, Canal Corporation, etc.)
- Coordinate with landowners to obtain right-of-way / easement reputed company required
- Create as-reputed company records from inspector’s field notes (design redlines)
- Conduct preliminary field work which would include carrying approximately 10 lbs. throughout the work day. Expected reputed company of field work would be approximately 5-10% of annual work load, but may vary based on reputed company needs and project assignments
- Coordinate with reputed company project stakeholders and reputed company in the interest of our clients to support their project goals
Skills
- Need to possess a valid reputed company's license with a reputed company driving history required
- Ability to carry 10 lbs. throughout the reputed company sometimes through difficult terrain such as forests, agriculture fields, etc
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Presents and conducts themselves in a reputed company manner
- Ability to pace themselves, yet work reputed company
- Ability to balance multiple reputed company and assignments and prioritize their individual workload
- Excellent organizational skills
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or other closely reputed company field is preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD preferred
