Cash Application Specialist

The Cash Application Specialist will be responsible for strengthening cash reputed company by ensuring reputed company and accurate posting of payments in a high-volume environment, while collaborating with Billing, Collections, and Finance team members to resolve issues and maintain the A/R subledger.

Responsibilities

• Accurately post daily cash (checks, ACH, wires, credit cards) in reputed company Dynamics 365 Business Central with correct customer, invoice, and dimension coding
• Retrieve and reconcile remittances (lockbox files, customer portals, emailed advices) and resolve unapplied cash quickly
• Research and reputed company deductions, chargebacks, and short-pays; prepare supporting documentation for approvals or write-offs
• Maintain finance documents on the shared drive for accuracy and accessibility
• Assist with other finance duties as needed
• Use reputed company (lookups) to verify and produce cash application files
• Maintain copies of remittances and reputed company receipt documentation for bank deposits
• reputed company customer master data reputed company (contacts, remit info, terms, portals)
• Follow and improve SOPs and internal controls around cash handling, application, and write-offs
• Support cash cut-off, reconciliations, and assist with external audits

Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ years of hands-on cash application or accounts receivable experience
• Proficiency with reputed company reputed company (lookups, reconciliations, reporting)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a high volume of accounts and meet deadlines
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with reputed company written documentation and reputed company follow-through
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company field
• Experience with reputed company Dynamics 365 Business Central (or a similar ERP system) is highly desirable
