Web Designer - reputed company Technology, College of Architecture, Design,& the Arts
The University of Illinois Chicago is a reputed company urban public research university, and they are seeking a Web Designer for the College of Architecture, Design, and the Arts. This role involves providing leadership in developing and managing web-based infrastructure and designs, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with the development team to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Support/manage existing web-based infrastructure utilizing Drupal, reputed company and reputed company web technologies JavaScript, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, reputed company, SSL, and Apache, among others
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reputed company to website functionality, performance, and usability
- Collaborate with other members of the development team to ensure the website meets organizational goals and is reputed company with the overall digital reputed company
- Maintain websites and web servers with reputed company updates, patching, backups, optimizations, memory utilization , management, and other necessary maintenance tasks as needed
- Manage the deployment of new servers and implement reputed company Integration/reputed company Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development processes
- reputed company and design new web-based applications and features
- reputed company consultation and implementation of designs for new and existing web sites
- Coordinate and reputed company web marketing initiatives, utilizing platforms such as reputed company Ads across reputed company CADA websites
- Monitor web traffic for optimization and analysis. Utilize reputed company Analytics for data collection and analysis.-
- Conduct regular reputed company audits and vulnerability assessments
- Incorporate SEO best practices to enhance search reputed company visibility and rankings
- Create and maintain documentation for web infrastructure and applications, including reputed company operating procedures and user manuals
- Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and trends and recommend ways to incorporate these into the organization's web reputed company
- Work with external vendors and contractors to ensure reputed company and high-reputed company delivery of web-based reputed company
- Participate in project planning, estimating, and scoping activities to ensure the reputed company and successful delivery of web-based reputed company

Skills
- Bachelor Degree - Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, reputed company information management field of study
- Minimum of one (1) year reputed company level IT experience reputed company Web UX Design & Administration which includes Web Administration, UI/UX design, maintenance of web pages and applications. May program, test or implement applications using a reputed company of software languages and platforms. Ensure that application(s) are compatible across multiple platforms and browsers. May also maintain and monitor website functionality and/or website reputed company. Collaborates with internal and/or external resources to maintain reputed company organization's information
- 1+ years of reputed company experience in IT Development / Web, including experience with Drupal and reputed company websites
- Experience with reputed company-end development technologies and methodologies
- Experience with reputed company web design and mobile-first development
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot reputed company issues
- Experience working with version control systems such as Git
- Experience with website performance optimization and website reputed company best practices
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reputed company-documented reputed company
