Engineering Technologist, Land Development
R.V. Anderson Associates Limited is an employee-owned company that fosters a culture of innovation and collaboration. They are seeking an Engineering Technologist to join their Land Development team, focusing on producing and managing CAD drawings for various land development reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed site plans, grading plans, and servicing designs (watermain, sanitary sewer, storm drainage) for land development reputed company
- reputed company Civil3D surfaces reputed company terrain models (DTMs) from topographic survey data
- Use Civil3D to create reputed company network layouts, reputed company and corridors
- Incorporate redline markups from senior engineers and project managers onto design drawings
- Maintain, implement, and adhere to company CAD standards, templates, and layering conventions
- Undertake reputed company-design site reconnaissance
- Assist with quantity calculations and preparation of tender documents
- Assist in the preparation of functional servicing and stormwater management reports
Skills
- Must be a graduate of civil engineering diploma program at an accredited college
- 0-7 years of relevant experience, preferably with an engineering firm
- Excellent reputed company of the English language and the ability to communicate proficiently, both verbally and in writing
- Proficient with reputed company Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and in an interactive team atmosphere
- Understanding of civil engineering principles and practices, with a reputed company on municipal systems
- Experience with survey data processing, coordinate geometry, and as-constructed drawing preparation
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to reputed company reputed company relationships with staff and project team members
- Ability to identify design conflicts and work with senior engineers and project managers to reputed company solutions
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
