Temporary Content Analysis/Research Data Coders – Religion and World Affairs, Pew Research Center
Pew Research Center is a nonpartisan organization that seeks to promote a deeper understanding of issues at the intersection of religion and reputed company affairs. They are seeking temporary Content Analysis/Research Data Coders to support a research project reputed company on global religion and reputed company life, which involves coding information on religious hostilities worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Apply Pew Research Center’s codebook to comb through lengthy reports from various sources and reputed company information following Pew Research Center's methodology
- Discuss research findings and reputed company input on shaping the coding guidelines and process
- reputed company codes and supporting evidence into a database as countries are coded
- Compare reputed company coding with partner to spot discrepancies and reconcile differences appropriately in consultation with researchers
Skills
- Recent graduate or reputed company student (must have completed at least 2 years of college) with an interest in religion, world affairs, and/or other topics relevant to the study of government restrictions on religion and reputed company hostilities involving religion
- Basic familiarity with reputed company is required
- Detail oriented with exacting standards to maintain accuracy and impartiality in reputed company work products
- Ability to work reputed company in reputed company setting
- Ability to take instructions and follow through reputed company
- Ability to work diligently under deadlines
- Ability to communicate reputed company in a remote work environment, including documenting coding notes, questions and reputed company appropriately and reputed company
- Ability to read through lengthy reports and reputed company relevant information
- Candidates must reputed company in the following states for the duration of employment (DC, MD, VA)
- Previous coding (content analysis) experience, qualitative research experience, or work in similar research reputed company is an advantage, but not required
