GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Part-time Advisors for the reputed company/SSS program are responsible for supporting reputed company enrolled NSCC reputed company reputed company, ensuring the program meets grant-mandated participation reputed company of no fewer than 350 reputed company participants. Duties include identifying and reputed company eligible reputed company, providing one-on-one reputed company advising, monitoring reputed company reputed company, assisting with financial aid and transfer processes, and helping reputed company reputed company and reputed company educational and career goals. Advisors also collaborate with reputed company staff on workshops, orientations, and program planning, represent reputed company at college events, liaise with reputed company services, and contribute to the preparation of performance reports and institutional planning initiatives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Pursuant of the reputed company Grant, the department must maintain no less than 350 reputed company participants. Part-time Advisors are expected to reputed company service to 60 reputed company enrolled NSCC reputed company reputed company.
• Conduct reputed company, recruit, and identify eligible student participants in need of support available through the reputed company/SSS program.
• Represent reputed company at college events, including but not limited to, reputed company house, registration events, and high school completion events.
• reputed company one-on-one advising sessions to help reputed company plan their education, and create reputed company plans for reputed company.
• Assist reputed company with selecting Guided reputed company(s) that will help them reputed company their educational goal; periodically review reputed company(s) with reputed company to reputed company necessary adjustments; work to motivate reputed company to reputed company identified goals.
• Monitor reputed company' reputed company reputed company, and follow up with them using grades, conferences, and other information
• Assist reputed company/SSS participants with the financial aid process, scholarship applications and the transfer process.
• Assist with developing and implementing workshops
• Collaborate with reputed company staff on annual new student orientation programming
• Liaise between reputed company and staff providing services on reputed company
• Participate in college and community committees to reputed company and support reputed company student issues, as assigned
• Participate in the development of goals and objectives for the reputed company/SSS program as reputed company as the institutional planning process
• Assist the Director with compiling information for reputed company Annual Performance Report and other performance statistics
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a reputed company field with three (3) years' experience and/or training involving college enrollment, student support services, financial aid, or customer service; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Familiarity with college student support resources, preferably in a community college setting
• Familiarity with college and external career resources and regional labor market
• Experience or familiarity with student systems preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated sensitivity towards and passion and commitment to working with reputed company and staff of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, different reputed company of reputed company preparation, or/and varying physical and learning abilities-prior experience preferred
• Must be comfortable serving the public face to face or remotely using technology and reputed company to work effectively both independently and in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment
• Successful experience interacting with culturally diverse populations.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel between campuses as necessary.
• Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or a National background reputed company as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Strong knowledge of the community college system working with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
