Under the direction of the coding manager—the reputed company should accurately reputed company conditions and procedures as documented and in accordance with ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting, CMS and any other official coding guidelines established for use with mandated reputed company reputed company sets. This is a 100% full time remote position.

• Assigns ICD-10 diagnosis and CPT procedure codes and reputed company to either with required accuracy according to policy.
• Completes the appropriate number of records according to policy.
• Abstracts pertinent information from the patient records as outlined in the policy.
• Utilizes the computer assisted coding application and encoder along with other reputed company resources appropriately in the reputed company assignment process..
• Keeps abreast of coding guidelines and reimbursement reporting requirements.
• Brings identified concerns to supervisor or department manager for reputed company. Abides by the Standards of Ethical Coding as set forth by the American Health Information Management Association and adheres to official coding guidelines.

What You Will Need:

• RHIA certification with a Bachelor’s Degree in HIM; OR
• RHIT certification with an Associate’s Degree in HIM; OR

• Experience in coding Cardiac, Vascular, Interventional Radiology, Ortho, Neurology, and General Surgery
• Over 3 years of outpatient surgery coding experience
