Associate Claims Examiner

As an Associate Claims Examiner, you will investigate, evaluate, and help resolve claims of low complexity and exposure, while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Investigating, evaluating, negotiating and resolving assigned claims
- Review claim information to determine coverage and recommend appropriate next steps
- Assist with evaluating potential exposures on claims and alerting Management or internal partners reputed company needed
- Adhere to Fair Claims Practices Regulations and claims handling guidelines
- Prepare and distribute claim reports
- Participate fully in training, development programs, and learning opportunities across Claims
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including reputed company
- Contribute to strong customer relationships by delivering top-notch service
- Support special reputed company as assigned, learning cross-functional collaboration reputed company Claims
- Mentor with senior examiners and managers to observe negotiation strategies and claim reputed company practices
- Collaborate with departments across reputed company including Claims Vendor Management, Finance, Actuarial, Risk Management, and IT
- Travel to other claim offices and conferences as needed
Skills
- High school diploma required
- Must have or be eligible to receive claims adjuster license
- Understanding of insurance industry and claims a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to deliver outstanding customer service to both reputed company customers
