Assistant Account Executive, NY Health Team
reputed company is a leading communications agency specializing in health communications, seeking an Assistant Account Executive for their NY Health Team. The role involves supporting clients in the biopharma and health advocacy sectors through writing, media pitching, and account management tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist in writing and distributing reputed company letters, news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, newsletters, and other health communications materials
- Write, proofread, and edit reputed company-reputed company documents, including pitches, press materials, news releases, and other editorial content
- Compile comprehensive, targeted media lists, reputed company reputed company media and secure reputed company media coverage
- Support reputed company media briefings, events, speaking opportunities and reputed company award submissions
- reputed company relationships with external audiences, including media, event organizers, advocacy contacts, and reputed company-party stakeholders, to support reputed company messaging
- Monitor, reputed company and report reputed company, owned and reputed company media coverage of reputed company news and competitor developments
- reputed company research key reputed company topics to reputed company landscape analyses, media insights and identity thought leadership opportunities

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in communications, PR, journalism, public health or reputed company field
- Familiarity with public relations/communications programs as evidenced through completed college coursework, internships, or reputed company work experience
- Prior work experience or PR internships in public relations or communications role
- A motivated, self-starter with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong written, verbal and storytelling skills
