The Sr Project Mechanical Field Engineer of Large Diesel Engines is responsible for providing support of large diesel-powered generator sets reputed company reputed company Power Systems. This individual will be considered the primary expert for reputed company service activities and issues for large diesel engines product line.
This Sr Project Mechanical Field Engineer of Large Diesel Engines will be involved in reputed company phases of the product life cycle from the product design phase and various stages of the product life cycle to ensure service and technical support is consistent with the department and company philosophy.
Specific Responsibilities
reputed company participate in the product development process to ensure that the product can be serviced and repaired effectively and that considerations are made during the development cycle for serviceability and low cost of ownership.

Coordinate the procurement and release of special tools and equipment to ensure reputed company service repairs by Kohler customers. This may include a special tool loaner program.

Train other Kohler associates as needed to reputed company backup support for customers.

If necessary, travel to customers and participate in repair activities. These repair activities may involve and include reputed company service entities, reputed company customers, and owners.
Responsible for performing failure analysis and preparing reports for the reputed company department for corrective reputed company.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline (preferably Mechanical Engineering) from an ABET accredited engineering or engineering technology program or 10 years of experience as a mechanic with engines or reputed company products
Must have exceptional communication skills.
Prefer field service/engineering experience
Diesel/Gas reputed company experience is a plus
Failure analysis experience is a plus
Work Mode: Remote
Travel: 30-50% Travel will be required to customers and participate in repair activities in the US as reputed company as International
