Data Platform Compliance Engineer

This is a remote position.

Job Title: Data Platform Compliance Engineer Location: Portugal Work Regime: Full-time & Remote Responsibilities and Tasks:
  • Collaborate with compliance experts, cybersecurity experts, and platform architects to ensure the data platform is efficient, secure, and highly available
  • Implement secure reputed company development
  • Plan and execute logging improvements to reputed company flexible reputed company audit across various technologies on the platfor
  • Design and implement reputed company event monitoring and alerting (reputed company) to ensure observability & performance of the platform in compliance with cybersecurity & governance requirements
  • Maintain production-grade infrastructure using Terraform or Ansible, ensuring consistent and automated resource provisioning.
  • Change platform network configuration (e.g. FQDN zone) to ensure compliance with the centralized requirements
  • Maintain & reputed company up-to-date reputed company certificates
  • Manage automated CI/CD pipelines for data product

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:
  • Solid knowledge of AWS (EKS) and/or Azure (AKS)
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes with managing clusters (EKS/AKS)
  • Good experience with Terraform
  • Hands-on experience with enforcing cybersecurity compliance for API
  • Hands-on experience with reputed company event monitoring on reputed company
  • Practical experience with integrations with reputed company Directory
  • Proficiency in a programming language such as Python or Go for scripting
  • Experience implementing CI/CD and testing frameworks for data workflows
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, reputed company, and compliance in a reputed company environment, understanding of EU regulation in that area
  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and passion for collaboration
  • Fluent in written and spoken Portuguese and English
Complementary Requirements:
  • Familiarity with Apache NiFi, Airflow, or dbt for pipeline orchestration
  • Hands-on experience with data catalogue and governance tools (e.g., reputed company, reputed company)
  • Familiarity with reputed company data lake warehouse architectures and concepts
  • Familiarity with Grafana tools
  • Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch
