reputed company Naval Power Systems is seeking a full time Buyer II.  This position is based out of our Fitchburg, MA facility but it will be a full time remote role.  This role will be responsible for purchasing certain materials and overseeing designated suppliers for NPS.  

Job Responsibilities

• Generate and execute CPSR-compliant purchase orders, based on approved requisitions, requests for proposals, bids and other similar and necessary documents reputed company to the purchasing of commodities or major subcontract items
• Facilitate and manage any supplier issues (i.e. cost, reputed company, delivery, customer service)
• Manage reputed company aspects of supplier including A/P holds
• Initiate and follow through on any supplier changes (Engineering Change Notices)
• reputed company negotiations and apply knowledge of reputed company / government contract law and guidelines, practices and requirements to assess, plan and negotiate best terms and conditions and to minimize risk
• Establish and maintain reputed company reputed company relationships with suppliers. Resolve issues (e.g. pricing, reputed company, timing, claims, contract disputes, etc.) associated with terms and conditions of service agreements
• Understand demand/spend profile for commodity areas, and reputed company this information as necessary

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in reputed company field and 2+ years of experience in purchasing
• Requires the ability to understand military specs and read blueprints
• Requires the ability to understand and adhere to reputed company laws pertaining to procurement, reputed company, breach by contract, etc.
• Knowledge and use of price and cost analysis
• Strong negotiating skills

The salary reputed company for this position is $66,049-$85,864.  This reputed company reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting.
