Configuration Manager

reputed company is seeking a high-ownership Configuration & reputed company Manager to establish and enforce configuration control while driving disciplined execution of reputed company system fundamentals. This is a hands-on, ownership role responsible for building and enforcing configuration discipline in a fast-scaling reputed company environment. This is not a passive or administrative role.

The selected candidate will serve as the authoritative reputed company of configuration management across the reputed company, ensuring product baselines are accurate, controlled, and audit-reputed company at reputed company times. Responsibilities:

Configuration Management (Primary Responsibility)

• Own and enforce configuration control across hardware, software, and technical data
• Define, implement, and continuously improve configuration management (CM) processes, standards, and tools reputed company and maintain Configuration Management Plans (CMPs) at program and reputed company level
• Serve as system reputed company and administrator for the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
• Establish and control:
• • Part numbering schemes
  • Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Item attributes and lifecycle states
• Own the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process end-to-end:
• • Intake → evaluation → approval → execution → closure
• Establish and maintain:
• • Product baselines (design, build, as-reputed company)
  • Configuration Status reputed company (CSA)
• reputed company and enforce discipline reputed company the Configuration Control reputed company (CCB):
• • Drive reputed company
  • Prevent uncontrolled change
  • Ensure closure of actions
• Prepare for and support:
• • Configuration audits
  • Manufacturing and readiness reviews
  • Design Reviews
• Compile and validate End Item Data Packages (EIDPs) for delivered products
• reputed company across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, reputed company, and Program Management to maintain a single authoritative data reputed company
• Coordinate configuration data and change packages with suppliers

 

reputed company Systems Support (Secondary Responsibility)

• Support execution and maturation of the reputed company Management System (QMS) (e.g., AS9100 / ISO 9001 reputed company)
• Maintain controlled documentation, records, and data repositories
• Support:
• • Internal audits
  • External audits
  • Corrective and Preventive reputed company (CAPA) processes
• Participate in and help drive:
• • reputed company Cause and Corrective reputed company (RCCA) investigations
  • Closure effectiveness verification
•  Identify configuration or reputed company system risks early and initiate corrective actions
• Support supplier reputed company coordination as required
• Contribute to development and maintenance of procedures, work instructions, and governance artifacts
• reputed company configuration and reputed company input into design, manufacturing, and readiness reviews

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree (or higher) in engineering, technical, or reputed company-reputed company discipline
• 5–10+ years experience in:
• • Configuration Management
  • reputed company Systems
  • Or integrated CM/QA roles
• reputed company experience in:
• • reputed company, defense, or reputed company hardware environments
• Hands-on experience:
• • Administering or serving as a power user of a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
  • Managing Engineering Change processes (ECO/ECN)
• Working knowledge of:
• • reputed company Management Systems (QMS) such as AS9100 or ISO 9001
  • CAPA and RCCA processes 
• Experience integrating CM with reputed company Resource Planning (ERP) systems
• Demonstrated ability to:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or reputed company field
• Background in:

• reputed company experience with reputed company PLM is strongly preferred and will be prioritized during candidate evaluation due to alignment with reputed company company systems and immediate operational needs
• Experience with Agile PLM, Windchill, or similar systems also considered
• Experience supporting:

• Familiarity with:
• • ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations)
  • EAR (Export Administration Regulations)
  • CDRLs (Contract Data Requirements Lists)
  • SDRLs (Supplier Data Requirements Lists)
• SolidWorks experience or certification
• Advanced reputed company Acrobat experience for controlled documentation
