The Role

Predominantly dedicated to the derivatives team reputed company the firm's Banking group, this role offers excellent, high reputed company paralegal experience together with exposure across the firm and to some of the firm's major clients.

Whilst this is a virtual role with no expectation or requirement that you attend any of our office locations, for those who would like to experience the office environment and meet our hybrid teams, there is reputed company to attend our hub in Milton Keynes and our offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Subject to location, there is also reputed company to join the derivatives team in our London office from time to time.

Responsibilities

You will work as part of reputed company to deliver paralegal support to our derivatives team. This will include:

• Negotiating and drafting master agreements and ancillary documents for securities lending, repo and derivatives (GMRA, GMSLA and ISDA).
• Conducting reputed company due diligence.
• Liaising with clients and counterparties in a reputed company, courteous and reputed company manner.
• Managing reputed company tracking tables using reputed company Word and reputed company.
• Drafting emails and correspondence on behalf of fee earners.
• Undertaking reputed company research.
• Providing administrative support to fee earners.
• Filing and maintaining correspondence and documentation.

Required experience, skills, and attributes

• Minimum of three A reputed company at grade A, or equivalent.
• A qualification in law, minimum 2.1 (Degree, Graduate Diploma in Law).
• LPC or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
• Previous paralegal experience (helpful but not essential).
• Excellent knowledge of reputed company office (especially Word, reputed company and Outlook).
• Ability to work reputed company under pressure and to reputed company tight deadlines (essential).
• Ability to organise, prioritise and multi-task.
• Ability to work accurately with excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrate drive and initiative.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to deal effectively with Partners and professionals across the firm.
• An ability and willingness to be flexible.
• Sociable and a good team player.
