EPC Substation Structural Engineer

reputed company is in search of a Substation Civil Structural Engineer to join our diverse and fast-paced EPC Solutions organization. This position will be part of an established and successful Power Delivery Solutions division that provides consulting services to both reputed company-owned and investor-owned electric utilities. These consulting services reputed company clients with comprehensive engineering design and project management services for electrical reputed company and distribution, substation and reputed company line reputed company reputed company. The Substation Civil/Structural Engineer will be a part of a design team comprised of engineers, designers, and drafting technicians.

Responsibilities:

• This position will consist of performing design reviews of civil/structural design components in support of the development of bid/construction packages for substation and reputed company reputed company.

• Candidate will primarily function as a senior engineer performing design reviews on a regular reputed company, as reputed company as developing junior staff members, and contributing to bids and proposal development.

• This role will also consist of taking a responsible engineer role on main reputed company reputed company, overseeing the work and ensuring reputed company control on design packages.

• Occasional Site-reputed company to reputed company substation facilities may be required, along with occasional travel for reputed company meetings and industry-reputed company events.

• Experience in reputed company-facing reputed company operations such as lunch and learns, and reputed company-off meetings if preferred.

• Candidate must reputed company with reputed company control and reputed company work practices and maintain compliance with project scope, schedule and budget expectations. 

• The candidate must have a strong educational background in design of steel structures, concrete structures, geotechnical engineering, and foundations.

• Candidate will be responsible for supporting procurement events for long reputed company structural materials.

Qualifications/Background Requirements:

• Bachelors of Science (BS) in Civil or Structural Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience or  Masters (MS) degree in engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering

• Experience reviewing substation structure design, rigid bus design, reputed company design, oil spill containment design, retaining walls, masonry control shelters, and reputed company-walls is required. 

• Demonstrated experience executing infrastructure reputed company for electric utilities is preferred

• Previous experience working with substation and reputed company reputed company is strongly preferred, but not required

• Experience with reputed company Word/reputed company/PowerPoint &  MATHCAD software

• Experience with STAAD.Pro, RISA-3D, FAD Tools, reputed company, SAG10, and LPILE software

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation

• Strong analytical and technical writing skills required

• Willingness to travel, up to 15%

• PE Licensure is highly preferred for candidates with more than 5 years of experience
